Evergreen tops list over most profitable container operation in Q1

On average, the leading container carriers had an operating result of 57 cents for every revenue dollar in the first quarter, according to Alphaliner. Evergreen performed best, while Maersk was near the bottom.

Taiwanese container line Evergreen had the highest operating margin in the first quarter, according to an analysis of operations in ten of the world’s largest container carriers conducted by analyst firm Alphaliner.
