
Customers of Danish liner company Maersk shouldn’t expect a discount on container freight.
Even though French competitor CMA CGM has yielded to political pressure and lowered its freight rates for major domestic retail chains and consumers in an attempt to fight price surges in the country, Maersk has no intention of doing the same, the carrier tells ShippingWatch.
