ONE books record result but notes great uncertainty for container market

Container line ONE, like its competitors, has started the year with a marked boost in profit, which in Q1 became the best quarterly result on record.

Japanese container line ONE is off to a fine start in 2022, landing its best quarterly result on record.

The company’s profit grew in the year’s first three months to USD 5.5bn against USD 2.5bn in the same period last year, according to a financial statement which due to a staggered fiscal year presents first-quarter results.
