Rates on long container contracts stayed high in August

The price on long-term container freight contracts have been increasing in August and now lie over 120% higher than last year, says Xeneta, which does predict a changing trend, however.

Rates on long-term contracts in the container market have seen a rising trend and soared by 4.1% in August alone compared to the previous month.
