Purchase of shares in logistics group to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd's services in Italy

The Italian mainland is an important source of freight for Hapag-Lloyd, and the share purchase in Italian logistics group Spinelli is meant to empower the German carrier in Italy and the Mediterranean region. But the acquisition does not change Hapag-Lloyd’s strategy, says the company.
