Customers are willing to pay extra for green shipping – but still far from enough

Customers are increasingly prepared to pay a charge for sustainable transportation, according to Boston Consulting Group. But it is not enough to cover costs of the green energy transition.

Even though shipper’s willingness to pay extra for carbon-neutral shipping is increasing, it still far from covers carrier expenses for the green transition, shows a new report from consultancy firm Boston Consulting Group.
