Wave of very large box ships about to enter strained market

Leading carriers will over the next ten months receive 89 container vessels to use in a declining market. A third of these are of the megamax type.

While the overall market demand is expected to go down, the 11 largest box carriers, headed by MSC, will receive a wave of brand new container ships over the next ten months.
