Carriers are breaking from industry discipline and dumping prices

Some container liners have lowered prices aggressively even though the industry as a whole has tried to keep rates afloat.

Carriers’ attempt to set a bottom level for freight prices is challenged by some players that are dumping rates in order to fill their ships at what is a critical time for the global container market, writes analytics company Linerlytica.
