Schulte chief executive eyes more dark clouds than sunshine ahead for shipping

The container market is in a downward spiral and the global economy offers little hope of recovery, says the chief executive of Germany’s Schulte Group.

The global economy is doing better than many economists predicted last year, but for the shipping industry there are still more signs of crisis than Schulte Group CEO Ian Beveridge likes to see.
