CMA CGM will soon have 100 ships that can run on alternative fuels

The French shipping company is in the process of converting its fleet to use greener energy sources, says the company’s head of operations in an interview.
The fleet of 100 ships that will be able to run on low-emission fuels will account for 15 to 20 percent of total consumption, says Christine Cabau-Woehrel of CMA CGM. | Photo: Focke Strangmann/AFP/Ritzau Scanpix
