Rolf Habben Jansen predicts three difficult years for shipping

Despite tougher market conditions, the industry is unlikely to suffer the same downturn as after the financial crisis, says the Hapag-Lloyd boss.

Hapag Lloyd CEO Rolf Habben Jansen expects the next three years to be challenging for the global shipping industry, as the demand for transportation is currently growing less than the capacity of the ships, he says in an interview with German Welt am Sonntag, Reuters reports.
