CMA CGM will charge more for Panama Canal voyages

From January, the shipping company’s customers will be charged a higher price for container services through the drought-stricken canal, which allows significantly fewer ships to pass through.

The French container major CMA CGM is now taking the consequences of the new restrictions at the Panama Canal, which is strongly affected by drought and low water levels.
