Media: Two buyers left in the takeover battle for HMM
The battle to take over South Korea’s dominant shipping group HMM has narrowed to two bidders, according to The Korea Economic Daily. A deal could be signed before the end of the year.
After evaluating the three bids received for container line HMM, the sellers, the South Korean government, have allegedly decided to move forward with only two of the companies.
