Maersk settles major lawsuit against the ship that blocked the Suez Canal

ShippingWatch has learned that a claim of USD 45m against the companies behind the Ever Given has ended with a settlement outside of court.

Maersk has dropped a court case against the companies behind the container ship Ever Given, which blocked the Suez Canal and clogged up global trade for several weeks in March 2021.
