Opinion: Houthi attacks differ from piracy in one crucial aspect

Although the Houthis are called a militia, they are more of an army, writes Lars Jensen in this column. Their attacks on ships could force China and Saudi Arabia into action.

The past week has seen an increase in attacks against commercial shipping in the Gulf of Aden. The attacks are launched by Houthi militia in Yemen, and the militia is allegedly funded and equipped by Iran.
