Chinese players move in to exploit gap left by shipping giants

The Houthi rebels have pointed out that they will not attack ships from China or Russia in the Red Sea as long as they steer clear of Israel.

Shipping companies from China are redirecting ships to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal after the Houthis have granted both Chinese and Russian vessels immunity as long as they do not have connections to Israel, according to Financial Times.
