MSC calls on US politicians to put an end to Houthi attacks

The attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea must be stopped before the disruption to global supply chains becomes so severe that the economy is hit, MSC warns.

Charles ”Bud” Darr, vice president of the world’s largest container shipping company, MSC, had a warning for US politicians gathered at the Congressional Subcommittee on Coastal Protection and Maritime Transportation on Tuesday; that the economy and American consumers stand to lose if the Yemeni Houthi militia is allowed to continue its attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea.
