HSBC says Maersk is far too gloomy about the future

The crisis in the Red Sea could sustain Maersk’s earnings and help the shipping giant avoid a loss in 2024, according to HSBC.

According to major bank HSBC, Maersk’s leadership paints an overly bleak picture of the situation in the container market, which is currently affected by the attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
