While major European ports are pushing the bar to decarbonize, some of Asia’s main ports say they do not have the ressources or technology to follow suit.
For many European ports and major peers such as the Port of Singapore, continuously applying green measures to decarbonize their activities and to communicate any advancement is almost becoming a condition to operate.
