Maersk chief exec sees potential risk in higher DB Schenker price
”It shouldn’t be done no matter what,” says Vincent Clerc about an acquisition of the German freight forwarding group, which Maersk has expressed interest in.
DB Schenker has been put up for sale and is expected to have a price tag of over EUR 13 billion, and an acquisition of that size will thus contain a risk for Maersk, as the shipping business is relatively cyclical, Maersk chief exec Vincent Clerc tells business daily Børsen.
