Shortage of ships has led to an increase in blank sailings

A new analysis suggests that insufficient vessel capacity has left shipping companies with no choice but to cancel sailings.

The two major shipping routes, Asia to Europe and the Pacific route, saw a large increase in canceled sailings in March and April, according to a new analysis from Sea-Intelligence.
