Evergreen boosts its 14,000 teu fleet through charter

Taiwanese Evergreen has made deals to charter even more 14,000 teu ships to its fleet. The carrier will take delivery of ten ULCS's during 2016 and 2017.

Evergreen is in the midst of renewing its fleet and the container carrier has made another announcement about deals to charter ultra-large container ships (ULCS's) of 14,000 teu. The carrier has thus made deals with both Costamare and Shoei Kisen Kaisha, each of whom will deliver five 14,000 teu ships to Evergreen during 2016 and 2017.
