A new alliance is born among container carriers operating on the Asia-Europe tradelanes. The former CKYH collaboration between Cosco, K-Line, Yang Ming, and Hanjin - from China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, respectively - has now been expanded to include Evergreen, also from Taiwan, according to a statement from the so-called CKYHE carriers, thus confirming the recent rumours of an imminent CKYH expansion

The announcement comes not long after ShippingWatch recently reported that both Evergreen and Dubai-based UASC, according to sources, were negotiating with the alliance.
