
The merger with Chilean CSAV is apparently not enough for German Hapag-Lloyd. According to Danish media Aktiefokus, Group CEO Michael Behrendt has told German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine that Singapore-based Neptune Orient Line (NOL) would be a good partner in an alliance, as the carrier would make it possible to boost the company's business on Asia-Europe.
As such, he is repeating a desire previously aired by the carrier's primary shareholder, Klaus-Michael Kühne.
