In its first major direct investment in a Danish company, Danica has decided to invest USD 73.1 million in shares in Unifeeder. The deal has been made with the carrier's current owner, equity fund Nordic Capital.
"We are pleased to have been given this opportunity to invest in Unifeeder. It's a well-run company that has consistently delivered strong results and which has a clear strategy aimed at continued growth. Thus Unifeeder also holds significant long-term growth potential and is therefore well-suited to our investment strategy," says Jacob Aarup-Andersen, CFO, Danica Pension.
