
Following a miserable half-year report from Hapag-Lloyd, major investor TUI is prepared to withdraw from the carrier entirely. The travel group has for a long time been ready to leave the shipping industry behind, to focus instead on the travel industry, according to Reuters.
"Whichever comes first at a decent price, we will go for it," says TUI Group CFO Horst Baier on Thursday.
