Maersk Line, Hapag-Lloyd and several other container carriers report massive congestion and long waiting times due to a shortage of truck drivers in the two biggest ports on the US West Coast.

Carriers such as Maersk Line and Hapag-Lloyd report that congestion in the two major US West Coast ports Los Angeles and Long Beach has reached a critical point resulting in significant consequences for all involved parties, not least customers.
