Maersk Line will order new ships within 6 months

In six months Maersk Line will put action behind its words about a coming fleet expansion when CEO Søren Skou begins ordering the carrier's first new ships after the Triple-E series.

Maersk Line CEO Søren Skou now sets a date for when the world's largest container carrier will order its first new ships after the behemoth series of 20 Triple-E ships in total. This will happen within the next six months, according to a statement issued by Maersk Line in relation to the Maersk Group's 3rd quarter interim report, published yesterday.
