Maersk Line and German DB Schenker Logistics have signed a deal to reduce CO2 emissions from ocean freight by 20 percent ahead of 2020 compared to emissions in 2014.
The deal means that Maersk Line commits to reducing CO2 emissions from each container the company delivers on behalf of DB Schenker over the next six years, say the companies in a statement.
