Maersk Line orders seven container vessels

Maersk Line has ordered seven ice-class container vessels of 3,600 teu each. The orders are part of a new investment program of USD 15 billion. More orders are on the way in 2015, according to the carrier.

Maersk Line has ordered seven new container ships of 3,600 teu each from Cosco, as part of the container carrier's investment program of USD 15 billion for newbuildings, a retrofit program and other equipment for the carrier's fleet.
