China penalizes 21 carriers for competition distortion
Several of the world's major container shipowners, including Maersk Line, Evergreen and CSCL have been fined by the Chinese authorities for illegal competition distorting deals. 21 carriers have been fined a total of USD 700,000, according to several media sources.
