In general, the world's largest container carriers were more reliable in June this year than in June last year, writes Drewry in a new analysis of the traffic on the East-West routes. This is mainly attributable to the new alliances which have increased reliability across the various carriers.

Maersk Line took the lead as the most reliable carrier in June, but Evergreen took a very close second place and was only 0.1 percent below Maersk Line's degree of reliability of 84.8 percent. In third place in the ranking of the most reliable container carriers in June, comes Hanjin with a score of 84.5 percent.
