Hapag-Lloyd strengthens reefer investment

The German container carrier has ordered several thousand new reefer containers as part of its comprehensive investment in the reefer market.

Hapag-Lloyd is the world's fourth-largest player in the reefer container business, and the carrier is now looking to grow this position with a new investment in 6,000 reefer containers, corresponding to 12,000 teu, informs the carrier in a press release.
