Three German carriers pool 147 ships

German carrier Borealis Maritime joins company O&S Chartering, which already consists of Reederei Nord and Bernhard Schulte, reports Tradewinds. The move pushes the O&S fleet to 147 container ships and dry bulk vessels.

Borealis Maritime, Reederei Nord and Bernhard Schulte have reached an agreement to combine the three carriers' chartering activities, reports Tradewinds.

Reederei Nord and Bernhard Schulte have since 2012 been working together in terms of their chartering activities through company O&S Chartering, in which the carriers have till now owned equal stakes, and the two companies have been looking for new partners since O&S was established.
