Zim delivers a small 2015 profit after recent deficits

Israeli carrier Zim managed to report small earnings in 2015, after a tough fourth quarter almost wiped the profits from the year's other quarters, writes Alphaliner.

Several years of deficit have now been reversed at the Israeli container carrier Zim, which in 2015 reached its goal of achieving a profit – albeit a small profit, notes Alphaliner. Net profit landed at USD two million against a loss of USD 205 million in 2014. The carrier successfully reported profits for the majority of 2015, but in the fourth quarter the positive trend came to a halt with a reported deficit of USD 30 million.
