Maersk Line confirms 2M deal with Hyundai Merchant

A memorandum of understanding between Maersk Line and MSC's 2M alliance and Hyundai Merchant Marine has been signed. Now the more specific details concerning the Korean carrier's membership will be discussed, Maersk Line tells ShippingWatch.

The 2M alliance between Maersk Line and MSC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korean container carrier Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) for the Korean carrier to join the alliance, Maersk Line confirms to ShippingWatch. The confirmation comes after HMM on Thursday issued a press release informing that the carrier is set to join the 2M alliance by April 2017.
