ZIM denies rumors of fleet sale

Israeli carrier ZIM has, according to the Wall Street Journal, put vessels and its Pacific customer base up for sale in order to become a regional carrier on the Mediterranean.

Israel's largest carrier, ZIM Intergrated Shipping Services, has according to the all Street Journal hired investment banks who are now traveling the world, presenting carriers and investors with a sales prospectus. The carrier allegedly intends to sell its vessels and customer base on the Pacific between Asia and the US in order to become a regional carrier in the Mediterranian.
