Media: What Maersk will announce at Capital Markets Day

On Dec. 13 when Maersk Group presents more details in the conglomerate's new strategy at its Capital Markets Day, topics at the top of the agenda will include transport, digitalization, and the divestment of Maersk Oil, reports Danish media Berlingske.

The new structure of Maersk Group was announced this fall, but the presentation gave rise to just as many questions as it answered.

However, the conglomerate's Capital Markets Day on Dec. 13 should hold more answers. Danish media Berlingske writes, after speaking with anonymous sources, that Maersk will present argumentation as to why it is a good idea to gather all of the conglomerate's transport companies under one unit in spite of previous efforts to keep businesses such as Maersk Line and port company APM Terminals separate.
