Maersk share exits historic 2016 on a positive note

Increasing pressure on all business segments meant that big decisions had to be made at Maersk Group's headquarters in Copenhagen, but stock market developments suggest that the outcome has been positive.

This is the overall header for 2016 at Maersk Group, which had a historic year plagued by continued low oil prices and pressure on container rates – but the year also marked the announcement of a brand new strategy which will gather the many assets under two main divisions.
