SeaIntel: Data error radically alters container growth scenario

Far fewer containers were moved in the beginning of the year than otherwise indicated by the first survey from CTS, writes SeaIntel in its weekly newsletter.

A "massive" correction of statistics in the first quarter has suddenly altered the picture of the container sector in 2017. In reality, far fewer containers were transported in the beginning of the year than otherwise reported by Container Trades Statistics (CST).
