Key shareholder sells out of Hapag-Lloyd

German travel giant TUI Group has sold its entire shareholding in Hapag-Lloyd to solely focus on tourism going forward. TUI has cashed in EUR 395 million.

TUI Group, which has been one of the major shareholders in Hapag-Lloyd with a stake of nine percent of the company, has sold its remaining shares in the German container carrier totaling 8.5 million shares.
