London-based investment fund Tufton Oceanic doubles its exposure to the container sector as it as has, according to Alphaliner, acquired seven vessels of 2,500 teu each from Germany's Hartmann Shipping. The price is listed as USD 50 million in total for the vessels – a price deemed highly attractive for Tufton in light of a future recovery in the charter market.
