Taiwan's Wan Hai sees profits soar

Wan Hai, which has its core business on the intra-Asian trades, followed in Evergreen Marine's footsteps and delivered improved top and bottom lines.

While Evergreen announced significant growth in earnings and cargo volumes in the second quarter, similarly Taiwanese carrier Wan Hai, whose core business is centered on the intra-Asia trades, reports a stronger bottom line as well as growth in revenue.
