Media: Chinese bank injects USD 15 billion in Silk Road

China Construction Bank Corp (CCB) is injecting USD 15 billion in a new fund which will finance some of China's large-scale Belt & Road project, dubbed the modern Silk Road.

China's second-largest bank, China Construction Bank Corp (CCB), is injecting USD 15 billion into a fund to finance projects that are part of the major Belt and Road initiative, also known as the modern Silk Road, reports Singaporean media The Business Times, based on comments made to Reuters from sources with knowledge of the matter.
