Second-hand container ships set new record in sales
The sale of second-hand container vessels accelerated in the first half of the year, beating the previous record from 2015.
The number of second-hand vessels that changed hands in the first eight months of the year climbed to 0.75 million teu, and have thus already surpassed the previous record of 0.64 million teu set back in 2015, notes analyst firm Clarksons in a new survey.
