Odfjell and Sinochem to operate new pool with 8 newbuildings

Norway's Odfjell is taking on four newbuildings on long-term charter and will operate a new pool collaboration with Sinochem Shipping in Singapore.

Odfjell has signed a framework deal with Sinochem Shipping Singapore for the Norwegian carrier to take four of Sinochem's total eight newbuilding chemical tankers at 40,900 dwt each on long-term charters, says Odfjell in a press release Tuesday.
