Broker: New LNG vessels threaten growth in coming years

Half of the LNG vessels ordered were not delivered last year, shows a report from shipbrokers Banchero Coast according to Seatrade Maritime. This was good news for the LNG carriers in the short term, as the fleet grew by just 5 percent to 490 ships and noted the highest short and long-term rates in three years.
