BW Tankers CEO steps down amid merger talks

BW Tankers CEO Tina Revsbech has stepped down from the product tanker shipping company at a time when the company is negotiating a merger with competitor Hafnia Tankers.

Tina Revsbech steps down as CEO of BW Tankers, the company confirms to ShippingWatch.

A spokesperson from BW Tankers tells ShippingWatch that Revsbech stepped down on Monday.  Her departure comes at a time when the company is in consolidation talks with competitor Hafnia Tankers. BW Group CEO Carsten Mortensen will serve as Acting CEO of BW Tankers for the time being.
