Frontline buys scrubbers for more 12 vessels

More than 40 percent of the Norwegian tanker carrier's fleet will be equipped with scrubbers, as the carrier has just placed a new order for the technology.

Norwegian tanker shipping company Frontline has ordered 12 more scrubbers, so that a total 20 percent of the Fredriksen-owned carrier's ships will have scrubbers installed, says the company in a press release.

Frontline is purchasing the scrubbers from Feen Marine Scrubbers. In June, Frontline purchased 20 percent of the shares in the company.
