Teekay projects sustainable recovery for tankers

Crude oil carrier Teekay Tankers' revenue grew in the third quarter this year, and this positive development will continue for the rest of the year, says CEO Kevin Mackay, who hopes for a sustainable development for tankers.

Revenue almost doubled at Teekay Tankers from the third quarter last year to the third quarter this year.

The tanker shipping company, which carries crude oil, reports a revenue of USD 175.9 million in the third quarter this year, up from USD 91.2 million in the third quarter 2017.
